Crystalline

Pardon my disbelief
My inability
rightful uninvestment
I don’t deny relief

Propaganda I see
Now insemination
Unknown draining vermin
Sucking the connection
– Invading sanity
Dissociating me.

– Lita

( I had a lot of fun with this one because as of late, I haven’t really tried to stick to any structure or form – just trying to feel out what works me.

However this poem is exactly six syllables each sentence and that challenge was more difficult than what I expected.)

I have question for those who dare to answer, What’s a realization that you’ve stumbled upon recently that you could sum up into a single sentence?

Precocious Bloom

Flowers grew in her backyard
She called them pretty
With a foreign roll of her
Tongue

Flowers grew in her backyard
She pulled me to the back
Hands winding
Round
Me

Flowers grew in her backyard
She called me a man now
Said – men take flowers from
Girls like her

Flowers grew in her backyard
With boyish hands and
Hesitance,
I picked them.

Unplugged I disappear.
It’s hard to digest
The taste of being alone.

The roots that once held me
Tying me to the web of the wide world
Wither and I find myself alone.

My fingertips.
Miles away from swiping right
Far away from exsitence.

Light from Lita
See you soon
